Update Release Notice
Timestead 2.4 Update Release – 04/10/2018
Freshbooks, Quickbooks and XERO account Platforms integration
This update officially rolls out the accounting software integrations with Freshbooks, Quickbooks and XERO. This may help your business in the billing process with your preferred accounting package. All our integrations are in BETA stage at this stage. Feel free to contact us with your comments or if you encounter any issues.
Changing the billing platform can be done by the administrator from your ‘Business Details’ form. Scroll to the Invoicing Platform and choose your preferred application. You may be asked to authenticate your platform to allow access for your Timestead instance for processing. Some of the platforms offer syncronization of tax codes and nominal codes at this stage.
Please make sure that before proceeding to make any invoicing, your jobsheet types and products (if any) are assigned with the proper Tax Code and Nominal code found in your invoicing platform, so that the billing process may allocate the billing with the appropriate code fields. If this is not set, the invoicing will fall under your invoicing
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
It is our priority to have Timestead fully compliant with the new GDPR regulations coming up in May 2018. It is very important that you to are aware of your data storing obligations and the implications with your clients’ data as well.
In this update we have updated some new client forms with opt-in awareness of the data stored and why it is processed.
